PCF Meeting

Meeting started at 7:06PM

Secretary minutes were read

Dana noted: that the Treasuer’s report amount needed to be fixed, $377.95

Convention in Reno is in 2019

Secretary minutes fixed and corrected

Moved to approve the minutes, seconded and passed

 

Treasurer’s report:

Income and expenses read

Balance for March $6067.39

 

March Mall cavy show expenses and income read

Total expenses $889.64 with a $66.86 profit

 

WCC, Friday Night Lights

Total expenses $582.40 with a profit of $370.60

 

Dana has bills!

Paper towels: $5.28

Kate:

March show mouse pad $22.60

Seeds $51.94

Extra mouse pads 9.60

Unused awards $21.98

Total: $166. 52

Linda moved to pay the bills, seconded by Johana and passed

 

Newsletter:

Have 4H kids assist with their ideas

 

Destination Boise Rabbit Show

Triple open, double youth

Rosalie, Terri as judges

Greg: Superintendent

Dana: Secretary

Starts Friday, can get in at 5pm or earlier

Start judging on Friday at 6pm

Open show only on Friday

Be out of there by 10pm

Stickers for different shows, use different colors

Animals can be left in the building over night

Summer sizzle show:

Double open, single youth

Venue possibilities: Boise Outlet Mall, Karcher Mall, the Grange, Outside

Kevin will work on locations

Kate will do awards

 

Zombie Show

Rupert Show:

Utah would like to do a show in Sept.

Kind of small

Could say no to Rupert and have Utah hold show in their location, keep the idea open. 

 

Convention:

October 18-23, 2019 in Reno 

Cavy hotel is the Best Western Stay Inn

This is pet-friendly

One time $25 fee for the whole week

 

Specialty:

Have regular meetings once a month to discuss specialty

Adding more members

Discussion on baskets, need to make sure we have two fundraisers

Make sure it is well advertised

Club meet up May 22nd for specialty fun, 7pm

Where? Linda’s House

 

Ad in the ARBA convention show catalog

Due by April 23rd

$60 for quarter page

Papers handed out

Extra $25 for people to do advertisement

Carrie volunteered to create the advertisement

Half page for $100

Kate moved to do half page, seconded and passed

 

Specialty: start think of awards

 

Trailer update:

No update

 

Cleaning day:

After July show, mats are yucky from Angoras

Clean mats before May show, clean at Dana’s house

May 4th in the morning, 9am

 

Equipment and Supplies Purchase:

Needed more or better brooms and a dust mop

Another dustpan

Dana will gather up the supplies and we will pay back

 

Club Locator Ad:

Should have been paid in January

$15 for the ad

Linda moved to pay for it, seconded and passed

 

No other new business was discussed

Sign paper for Secretary of State

 

Next meeting is August 7th 7pm, possibly at Cassie’s place
